All-Church Events

Integral to our lives as Christians is remembering and reliving the central stories of our faith. Also essential is the fellowship of the Body of Christ - all of us together, in worship, service and learning. We think of ourselves as an extended family, a "village" of Christ's people. With this in mind we offer the following All-Church events especially designed to include children and youth:

September 12	CE Board Ice Cream Social. Sunday School at 9 a.m. and Worship at 10:15 a.m.
Sept. 25-26	Family Retreat at La Foret (register by Sept. 12)
October 3	World Communion and Neighbors in Need Sunday.
November 7	UNICEF Sunday (different cultural clothing & international foods at Fellowship time)
	Home Tour lunch and decoration party (date to be announced)
December 19	Potluck after worship followed by Christmas Caroling to home-bound members
December 24	Family Worship at 5:00 pm, Candlelight Service with Communion at 10:30 pm.
January 2 or 9	Worship designed to include children.
	Empty Bowls painting for OUR Center following worship and soup lunch
March 8	Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, carnival fun, and Service of Ashes
April 17	Palm Sunday
April 21	Maundy Thursday
April 24	Easter, worship includes children. Annual Easter Egg Hunt after worship.
May 22	All-church picnic following worship and fund raiser for youth mission trips

Plus: picnics in the park in the summer and various family camping outings. Our Dinner with Friends
groups, formed each Fall and Spring, also include children. All-Church picnic pictured below.

Family Retreat - September 25-26, 2010

The family retreat at La Foret near Colorado Springs is scheduled for September 25 - 26, 2010. This year's theme is "Playing Faithfully." Cost is $44 (adults) and $33 (children 4-11). Register by Sept. 12.
