ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE

As people of faith who recognize we are only one part of creation, we commit ourselves to the ongoing work of healing and justice for the world. We do this work because it is both urgent and hopeful.

As stewards for on-going creation, we commit ourselves to the continued efforts that will lead us to consider the environment in both the everyday and  in larger pivotal decisions. We acknowledge that there are many paths, both simple and technologically advanced, that can play a constructive role in repairing past damage to the environment and caring for its future.

We acknowledge that as individuals we have different life experiences but will continue to learn and grow. As a community, we will strive together to live into God’s vision for all of creation.

Please contact Rev. Amelia if you have any questions email: adress@ucclongmont.org

CREATE A SMALL GROUP MINISTRY

Small group ministries are designed to create spaces for closer connection. Along with the beauty of our collective worship each Sunday, small groups play a vital role in allowing members to practice vulnerability and engage our curiosity together.  Small Group Ministry is a space to lift up our voices, learn with one another, and build authentic relationships. As members of a small group we can create a way of living out our purpose, both as individuals and as a collective group of believers.

If you have interest in creating a small group within the UCC Longmont community, we welcome you to begin with a conversation with Rev. Sarah or Rev. Amelia.
